How it Works

When you join you’ll receive your Francis Francis X8 iperEspresso machine and your initial shipment of 2 cans of illy iperEspresso capsules. Your initial charge will be $175 for the machine plus a $19.95 handling fee, plus the price of the capsules and any applicable shipping and tax. You’ll continue to receive automatic deliveries of 2 cans of illy every month and your credit card will be charged with each monthly delivery.

After your initial coffee shipment, you can change the quantity, frequency or selections of coffee in your recurring deliveries as often as you wish. Ground shipping is free for coffee orders totaling $75 or more, and a special reduced-rate of $5.00 for coffee orders under $75. Coffee purchased outside of your recurring illy a casa coffee deliveries will not count toward your membership commitment.

iperEspresso Capsules

The heart of the iperEspresso method is the proprietary capsule with its unique iperChamber™ where illy coffee extraction takes place in two stages. In the first stage, hyper-infusion, hot water under ultra-high pressure mixes with the coffee under optimal conditions to enhance extraction of precious flavors and aromas, creating a richly complex flavor. In the second stage, emulsification, coffee is forced through the patented e-valve™ at the bottom of the capsule, mixing the aromatic oils with air to produce a full-bodied espresso and a thick, long-lasting velvety crema.

Capsules contain approximately seven grams of perfectly roasted and expertly ground and tamped 100% Arabica illy coffee. Available in medium roast for a sweet, balanced, pleasantly nuanced flavor, dark roast for a more intense and robust flavor, decaffeinated, and lungo, a medium roast long espresso (about 2 ounces) to be savored in a larger cup.
